SUBWOOFER FOR BMW-MINI
Subwoofers have been designed with electro-acoustic parameters that maximize performance for the factory box available below the seats. The ABS plastic basket, reinforced with fibreglass, and the acoustic structure featuring a front magnet, provide for a minimal installation depth for a perfect compatibility with the whole range. Two 5 mm polyurethane gaskets, supplied, allowing the subwoofer to fit perfectly into the box, decoupling it from vibration.
The 200 mm (8″) APBMW S subwoofers allow a “direct replacement” of the OEM speakers underneath the front seats, making the most of the factory acoustic load and generating deep and crisp low frequencies. You can choose between S8-2 with 2-ohm impedance and S8-4 with 4-ohm impedance for improved system composition versatility. In fact, in the mid-high passive filtered system configuration, with the crossover provided, 4 of the 8-channels of the AP 8.9 bit can be configured in bridge mode delivering 130W RMS to each S8-4 installed under the seat. The S8-2 can be used in a fully active, multi-amplified front system, maximizing the power of the AP 8.9 bit at 2 ohms, and employing additional 2 channels for the rear system. The Neodymium magnet used on S8-4 and S8-2 allows for greater power and control than ferrite while maintaining the depth of installation unaltered.

Audison Prima AP 6.5
The Audison Prima AP6.5 – 6.5inch woofer -designed for upgrade & replacement with Oem type woofers that are generally fitted in vehicles that have a active system.
The Audison AP 6.5 feature a 32 mm pure copper voice coil, for high power handling and outstanding low frequency control. All the woofer don’t employ any filter, to maximize efficiency: the dome profile has been optimised with Klippel R&D Scan Vibrometer to obtain a calibrated mechanical low-pass cut-off frequency. The surround features the exclusive shallow “Triple Wave” profile, for maximum excursion linearity.
Featuring a 32 mm pure copper mobile voice coil, for high power handling and outstanding low frequency control this Prima 6.5″ has a treated water-repellent paper cone, featuring a profile developed with FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation technology and optimised using Klippel R&D Scan Vibrometer technology.

Audison Prima AP5.9 bit
AP5.9 bit amplifier is ideal to realize a two way front full active plus subwoofer system using the fifth mono channel with 270 W @ 2 Ω. The built-in processor, that this amplifier shares with the AP8.9 bit, provides the ability to assign the pre-outs to the AP4 D amplifier, creating a very powerful system in a small space thanks to the “rack mounting” system.

DRC – Digital Remote Control
The DRC is the digital interface between the AP5.9 bit and the user. The DRC mounted in the vehicle dashboard, provides access to control of the inputs and volume adjustments, balance, fader and subwoofer volume. Providing source selection between main, aux and optical inputs, it also provides four of the configurations created and saved by the bit one right at hand. At the forefront of subwoofer technology, Audison take lows to new heights with this active subwoofer. Capitalising on a class D amplifier’s ability to drive extremely low impedance loads, the woofer itself utilises two low impedance voice coils offering an overall nominal impedance of 0.16 Ohms. This means the 400 Watt onboard amplifier can work with extreme efficiency offering mind-blowing bass for such a compact sub/amp combination. With both high and low-level signal inputs, the amplifier offers a built-in Butterworth lo-pass filter (12dB/octave) that can be bypassed when fed via a bit DSP. The APBX 10 AS is equipped with a quick release smart plug for easy removal if extra space is required!
